Fever

A rising tide, mud and cattle tracks. Simple, but it made me look twice. The lighter area hasn’t had the tide on it for 14 days or so and has been baked by the sun. The darker areas are wet and I could see rising tide lines. The added bonus was the cattle tracks in the wet which stopped at the high tide where the cattle stepped on to hard baked land. The tracks show classic herd mentality as they all follow the same trail, but I would love to know why one went sideways and basically followed no one. Was it a buffalo? I’ll never know, but at about 1500 feet it was a simple composition with a great story. Art Size 85 x 85cm
