Paul Arnold is a man who truly lives and breathes the Territory outback.
His landscape and wildlife photographs are his way of sharing his bush experiences with those who may not get the opportunity to absorb themselves into the Territory as he does. His passion for bush photography sees him spending days, or even weeks, in remote locations observing the natural light, colours and textures of the landscape at different times of the day and, of course, noting the local wildlife before deciding the best way to capture his subject. It is the enthusiasm Paul has for the bush that sees him as the market leader in the Territory for landscape and wildlife photography.
Paul and his wife Julie previously travelled to some of the most remote parts of Australia, but it was Paul’s intense love for the Northern Territory that drew him back with the intention of capturing its unique beauty to share with the rest of Australia and the world. It is from the many different landscapes, colours and wildlife species of the Top End, that he finds his inspiration.
Paul uses a Hasselblad H3DII-50 medium format camera for his landscape images and a Canon 1DS MkIII to capture his wildlife images. With a range of the highest quality lenses, Paul produces images to the highest standards without any manipulation. Paul believes in capturing the Territories landscapes and wildlife in photos that are as nature intended.
